Critter Crew at Sowing Joy Farm!
This is a text field. At Sowing Joy Farm, we believe in working with nature, not against it. That’s why our pest control methods rely on some of our favorite farm critters instead of harmful chemicals.
Ladybugs: The Tiny Warriors
Aphids love flowers, but so do our ladybugs! These tiny red-and-black beetles feast on aphids, keeping our blooms healthy without the need for pesticides. It’s a win-win—happy flowers and happy pollinators!Add and edit content here.
Ducks: The Slug Patrol
Slugs might see our farm as an all-you-can-eat buffet, but our ducks have other plans. These waddling pest controllers roam the fields, munching on slugs and keeping our flowers safe. Bonus? They provide endless entertainment while they work!
Monti: The Guardian
Our trusty farm dog, Monti, isn’t just a protector of our sheep and lambs—he also keeps the deer at bay. Without him, those hungry deer would be sneaking into our fields for a floral feast!
Most importantly, we do all this with the bees in mind. Unlike big-box flower farms that rely on pesticides, we’re committed to keeping our farm safe for pollinators. After all, without bees, there are no flowers!
At Sowing Joy Farm, we embrace nature’s balance, ensuring our blooms are grown with love, care, and a little help from our critter crew.
