Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 18, 2026
Welcome to Sowing Joy. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of sowingjoyfarm.com, your purchase of our flowers and gifts, your participation in our classes and events, and your visits to our farm. By placing an order, booking a class, visiting the farm, or otherwise using our site, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Us
Sowing Joy Farm LLC is an Idaho limited liability company located at 444 S Gallatin Rd, Post Falls, ID 83854. You can reach us at ondrea@sowingjoyfarm.com or (208) 664-7543.
2. What We Offer
We offer, among other things: fresh-cut flowers grown on our farm and sourced from wholesale growers, seasonal bouquets and arrangements, gift items (including candles, jewelry, and other curated goods), classes and workshops, u-pick experiences, gift cards, and event/venue bookings. Product availability, pricing, and offerings may change without notice.
3. Ordering & Payment
Orders placed through our website are processed via Shopify Payments. By placing an order, you confirm that the payment information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method. We also accept orders through invoices sent directly to you for payment online.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or product unavailability.
4. Shipping, Delivery & Pickup
We currently ship via FedEx to the contiguous United States only. We do not currently ship to Hawaii or Alaska. We also offer local delivery and farm stand pickup for customers in our area.
Pickup orders: Pickup orders are held for 48 hours from the scheduled ready/pickup time. Orders not picked up within that window will be considered unclaimed and may be donated or restocked; no refund will be issued for unclaimed orders.
Delivery dates for fresh flowers are estimates. Because our products are perishable and seasonal, we cannot guarantee exact delivery times, though we will do our best to meet requested dates, especially for occasion-based orders.
5. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
Damaged or unsatisfactory arrivals. If a shipped order arrives damaged or in poor condition, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos of both the flowers and the shipping packaging. We will review the situation promptly and determine the appropriate replacement, credit, or refund. Minor wilting or movement that can reasonably be corrected through hydration and normal flower care may not qualify as damage.
Due to the perishable nature of our product, please do not attempt to return items to us. Instead, contact us with photos taken upon arrival, and we will review the situation from there.
Order cancellations. Orders may be cancelled for a full refund up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery, shipping, or pickup date. Cancellations made within 48 hours of that date are non-refundable, as flowers and materials may already have been purchased or prepared specifically for your order. Once an order has been designed, shipped, delivered, or picked up, it cannot be cancelled.
6. Visiting the Farm
We welcome visitors to our farm during posted seasonal hours: May through October, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM, self-serve. Farm activities may include u-pick, workshops, and similar on-site experiences.
Idaho Agritourism Warning. Under the Idaho Agritourism Promotion Act (Idaho Code §§ 6-3001 through 6-3006), agritourism professionals like Sowing Joy who post the statutorily required warning are not liable for injuries resulting from the inherent risks of agritourism activities. Idaho Code § 6-3005 requires the following notice to be posted, in black letters at least one inch high, in a clearly visible location at the entrance to the farm and at the site of each agritourism activity:

This warning is posted on signage at the farm entrance and at the site of each agritourism activity, consistent with Idaho Code § 6-3005.
By visiting the farm and participating in agritourism activities (including u-pick, workshops, and similar experiences), you acknowledge and assume the inherent risks described above.
7. Classes, Workshops & Event Bookings

However, tickets are transferable to another person, or may be transferred to another Sowing Joy event, subject to availability. If Sowing Joy Farm cancels an event, guests will have the choice to receive a full refund or transfer their ticket to another available event.
8. Gift Cards
Gift cards are redeemable toward products and services on our website or at the farm. Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law.
